Our Story

Born out of both pain and hope - a journey of transformation

From Personal Tragedy to Purpose

Brispark was born out of both pain and hope. I grew up in a farming community where agricultural waste was everywhere - burned in the open air, left to rot, or used in ways that harmed the environment.

Like many families, we relied heavily on firewood and charcoal for cooking. I remember the countless trees cut down just to fuel kitchens, and the thick smoke that filled our home. It seemed normal until it took away the person I loved most.

My mother passed away from complications linked to prolonged exposure to indoor smoke. Losing her was devastating. It wasn't just the loss of a mother, but the painful realization that something as basic as cooking could destroy lives and our environment at the same time.

Building a Movement

Her death planted a seed in me: the determination to find a safer, healthier, and more sustainable way for families to cook, farm, and live.

I could not carry this mission alone. Together with like-minded co-founders who shared my passion for clean energy, women's empowerment, and environmental justice, we built Brispark. Each of us brought unique strengths - innovation, community engagement, research, and advocacy - but we were united by one vision: turning agricultural waste into opportunity.

At Brispark, we transform agricultural waste into eco-friendly briquettes and clean energy solutions. But more than that, we are transforming grief into purpose, waste into opportunity, and challenges into hope.
